A very interesting hop that adds a spicy, peppery, onion flavor to the beer. I would avoid too many late additions with this hop because it can be overbearing. It's wonderful as a bittering hop.

Seeing as the fruity American varieties are getting more expensive by the day here in the Netherlands, I bought this strain partly out of economic necessity. Needless to say I was not dissapointed! The smell that emanates from Target is unlike any other hops that I have had the pleasure to work with. It's floral in a way I cannot quite put in words. Big fan of this variety! It fit my Belgian tripel like a glove.

In my opinion; this hop is best friend of stout.

For me, just a little background of sage and citrus with a strong but controlled floral (reminds me of rose) note. Besides the comment up here nowhere else describes this hop as floral, but it is the main note that I get. Used in an ordinary bitter single hopped with target. For 40 liters these were the additions: 15.0 g Target - First Wort 60.0 min 15.0 g Target - Boil 15.0 min 15.0 g Target - Boil 10.0 min 15.0 g Target - Boil 5.0 min 20.0 g Target - Boil 0.0 min
